Berlin Partner for Business and Technology has once again been entrusted by the Senate with the implementation of the joint pavilion Berlin Brandenburg - financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the State of Berlin - and is organising it in cooperation with the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Interested companies, scientific institutions and networks from the capital region will be offered cost-effective participation in an attractive setting.
As in 2022, we will again be in the front row at the main entrance in 2023, which will once again increase visibility. As usual, we will offer you your own individual space on approx. 110 m² of stand area, in addition to the shared meeting area with refreshments for you and your guests.
In addition to meeting islands, there will again be the option of using a small meeting room in 2023, where livestreaming via TEAMS or ZOOM will also be possible.
After the pandemic years, we want to build on the successful year 2019 again in 2023 and put together an extensive supporting program for you in addition to the trade fair:
On Tuesday, 18.04, the accompanying programme will start, one day before the actual fair, with a full-day delegation tour in the greater Tokyo area.
The agenda includes visits to two to three research institutions, companies or incubators and start-up hubs that are active in the fields of photonics, quantum technologies and aerospace, quantum technologies and aerospace. The exact locations of the visits are currently being agreed.
The organisation team of the Photonics Cluster Berlin Brandenburg will accompany you on this tour.
On Wednesday, 19.04. - The first day of the trade fair will be dedicated to networking: guests will be welcomed to our joint stand, first talks with customers or those who want to become customers. In addition, our Berlin-Japan Joint Expert Seminar "Photonics and Quantum Technologies for Communication and Space Applications" will also take place on this day.
Starting at 2:30pm local time, speakers from Berlin and Brandenburg as well as Japanese representatives will present their projects, activities and current research results on the topic for about one and a half hours in the Annex Hall. For more information please check the links below.
From 5:15 pm - Berlin Evening Reception: Afterwards, we offer all participants and exhibitors the opportunity for an informal exchange in a cosy atmosphere with food & drink at the restaurant ATTIMO, just 1min walk from the exhibition hall.
Thursday, 20.04. - The second day of the OPIE also promises many conversations and new contacts. Our traditional "Get-Together" will take place at the Berlin Bradenburg pavilion from 3pm. Invite your customers and guests to exchange ideas together over beer, soft drinks and finger food.
Of course, we will again take care of the preparations for the stand construction and also the transport of your material to Japan.
