OPIE 2023: "Photonics and Quantum Technologies for Communication and Space Applications" - Berlin-Japan Joint Expert Seminar
Pacifico Yokohama
PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLINE PARTICIPATION ONLY!
Participation on-site is for free for OPIE exhibitors and participants.
Photonics and Quantum Technologies (QT) are currently gaining more and more attention. In Japan, cooperations between industry and science in relation to research and development of quantum technologies is becoming increasingly dynamic as it is in Germany and specifically in Berlin and Brandenburg. In addition, the bilateral relationship between the two countries has been characterised by close political exchange and international cooperation for decades.
Therefore, our PHOENIX network has identified the topic "Photonics and Quantum Technologies for Communication and Space Applications" of potentially mutual interest.
In joint collaboration with the crossborder innovation agency CROSSBIE, we are therefore delighted to be hosting a workshop on this very topic at this year's OPIE in Pacifico Yokohama.
Wednesday, April 19th, 2023
2:30 p.m. (JST) (7:30 a.m. CEST)
Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Center / ANNEX Hall
The focus is on intensifying cooperation in this high technology field and strengthening the network between the photonics and QT community of the German capital region and Japan. We are therefore pleased that both the Berlin industry and Japanese representatives with excellent expertise in photonics and QT in communication and space appplications are among the speakers.
